STANDING BOARD POLICY COMMITTEE MEETINGS
Members of the Board of Education will be meeting during the upcoming months to review District policies. The committee meetings will be held at Blackthorn Grille, 10 West Grand Avenue, Lake Villa, County of Lake, IL, see below for dates and times.
The Policy Committee is a standing Board committee which will –
- Review policies and recommend changes including Mission, Vision, Values, and Goals
- Review Press when it is received and explain recommendations to the board
- Make recommendations on the governance model (i.e. Coherent Governance Model)
- Monitor Annual Calendar and recommend changes to the Board
- Perform other policy related functions as needed or requested

Friday, May 3, 2013 – 9:00 a.m. – Board Room
Friday, June 14, 2013 – 1:30 p.m. - Board Room
No official business or actions of the Board of Education
will take place at these committee meetings.
