PTO Mission Statement

  • The Lake Villa District 41 PTO is dedicated to promoting the welfare of District 41 children and youth in the home, school and the community. The PTO supports a closer relationship between home and school so parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently towards the healthy development of the child. The PTO wishes to develop coordination between educators and the community so that every child has the highest advantages in physical, mental and social education.


    The purposes of the Lake Villa Community Consolidated School District 41 Parent Teacher Organization (District 41”PTO”) as stated in its Articles of Incorporation are exclusively for charitable, educational and scientific purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue code of 1954 or its corresponding successor section. This shall include but not be limited to:


    1. Promoting the welfare of children and youth in the home, school and the community; 2. Bringing into closer relation the home and school so that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently towards the healthy development of the child; and 3. Developing coordination between educators and the community such that will secure for every child the highest advantages in physical, mental and social education.
