Early Childhood Education Programs
Lake Villa District 41 operates an "at-risk" preschool program for children who are 3-5 years of age on or before Sept. 1st of the upcoming school year.
All children are screened by the district prior to be enrolled in the program. Not all children are accepted.
To register for a preschool screening, please contact Angie Zamora at angie.zamora@district41.org or by phone at (847) 356-2385 for an appointment. Screenings are held during the summer and quarterly throughout the school year (unless there is a holiday).
Parents will need to provide to the district a copy of their child's birth certificate and "proof of residency" (gas, electric, water bill, etc). Parents/guardians will be required to fill out a short registration form. A parent questionnaire will also be given to parents to complete and return to their district on the day of their child's screening. After the screening is completed, the parent/guardian will be contacted about the results of the screening and if their child is being invited into the program.
