I am excited for the opportunity to work towards making a greater impact on the Lake Villa School District 41 community. I have dedicated my career to Lake Villa Community Consolidated School District 41 as a third, sixth, and eighth-grade teacher. I have 21 years of experience combined with Joseph J. Pleviak Elementary, William L. Thompson Elementary, and Palombi Middle School to bring to the Dean of Culture and Student Discipline role. I have participated in many leadership opportunities throughout my career, including Building Team Leader, Leader in Me Lighthouse Coordinator, Leader in Me Facilitator, as well as coaching basketball and volleyball at Palombi. I have served on a variety of committees that have brought positive changes to progress the district further in its quest to provide best practices to all students.

I have been integral to the school district's implementation of Leader in Me from the beginning. My passion lies in developing all students' ability to be leaders and valued school community members. I am committed to providing opportunities for students to share their strengths and shine. This is crucial to student achievement and success, especially at the middle school level.
