Romaine Lettuce Recall Notice

As of Nov. 20, 2018, the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA), along with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), state and local agencies, is investigating a multistate outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 illnesses likely linked to romaine lettuce.The FDA advises that consumers should not eat romaine and should discard romaine, or any mixed salads containing romaine, until more information on the source of the contamination and the status of the outbreak can be determined.

Lake Villa SD41 and  Arbor Management  will follow the advice from the CDC  and not serve any Romaine lettuce products until such time that the supply chain can be verified and it is safe to do so.
