Palombi Middle School continues its path of leading our
students in Stephen Covey’s 7 Habits with Leader in Me.
Leader in Me is an evidence-based, comprehensive model that
builds leadership and life skills in students, creates a high-trust
school culture, and lays the foundation for sustained academic
achievement.
Palombi Students started the school year by reviewing the 7
Habits, followed by cooperative activities. Students interested
in being Lighthouse Leaders were selected through an
application process. Lighthouse Leaders coordinate all of our
Palombi student action teams.
Student Action Teams are student driven and aim to positively
impact the school community. Palombi students meet twice
monthly to learn about the 7 Habits. Sample action teams include: Go Green Team, Birthday Club, Dance Committee, Healthy Habit Leaders, Knitting for a Cause, School Spirit Leader, LEAD Day Coordinators, and more!
