Super proud of these first graders who read to Ms. Darlene, our Health Coordinator, and Ms. Kim, the office. It can be hard to read out loud, especially to an audience, but this group did it calmly and happily! We are very pleased by the growth in confidence these first graders have shown.

These students understand that together is better. By listening to others’ ideas, valuing different perspectives, and working as a team, they create solutions that are even stronger than they could make on their own. 🤝✨
Whether collaborating on class projects, solving problems on the playground, or encouraging teammates, they show that true leadership means working with others, not just alongside them.
We are so proud of the way our students combine their strengths to achieve great things!

A big congratulations to two incredible students who earned the Principal Pride Award for their outstanding leadership in guiding our February Student of the Month ceremony! 🌟
From confidently speaking in front of their peers to keeping the ceremony organized and running smoothly, they demonstrated poise, responsibility, and true Mustang leadership. Their preparation and positive presence helped make the celebration extra special for everyone involved.

Our Mighty Mini Mustangs saw a problem on the playground… and they didn’t wait for someone else to fix it. 💥
They planned, organized, recruited, and executed a full playground clean-up all on their own! The “Garbage Gang” sprang into action — working together, dividing jobs, and showing what true leadership looks like.

We are so proud of their commitment, confidence, and courage as they took the stage tonight. 🎤🌟

This week, our youngest learners practiced synergy—working together, listening to each other’s ideas, and creating something even better as a team. Whether building or problem-solving, they are discovering that when we combine our strengths, we can do amazing things!

After putting creative twists on classic tales, our 4th graders shared their writing with confidence, expression, and plenty of humor. The 2nd graders were an amazing audience—full of smiles, laughter, and thoughtful listening.
This special cross-grade experience built leadership, speaking skills, and school community. We love seeing our students learn from one another and shine in new ways! 💙👏

When students collaborate with purpose, amazing things happen. We are proud of the leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills our Mustangs are building every day! 🐾✨

Our students are hard at work on their Leader in Me WIG (Wildly Important Goal) binders! 🎯📚
Using the principles from The Leader in Me, students are setting meaningful goals, tracking their progress, and reflecting on their growth. These binders help them take ownership of their learning, celebrate successes, and build lifelong leadership habits. We love seeing students take initiative, stay organized, and work toward their personal and academic goals. The future is bright when our leaders are leading themselves! 🌟

We loved seeing our students (current and former!) confidently share their goals and showcase their learning with families. The strong partnership between home and school was on full display. Thank you to our staff and families for making the evening such a success! 2/2 💙 #mustangsmakeithappen
