March

Dear Parent and/or Guardian:

Next week students will take the ELA Illinois Assessment for Readiness (IAR) on Tuesday and Thursday (March 12th and 14th).  The following week they will take the Math IAR on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (March 18th -20th). Our eighth graders will take the Illinois Science Assessment on April 2nd. In the coming weeks, we will be testing any student that missed any of these important tests.

With the beginning of the new trimester, students earn a new chance to create habits that will make them successful for the term and the rest of their life. We will be having students review their Wildly Important Goals in order to stay focused on reaching their highest potential. Please continue to check Power School to help them keep track of their work.

In celebration of trimester two successes, Palombi will be sending out trimester two honor roll certificates to students before spring break. We want to applaud all the great work these students have done to earn this award.

In Partnership,

Mrs. Angela Sisi

Principal
