There are four basketball teams at Palombi.

• 6th/7th Grade Boys

• 6th/7th Grade Girls

• 8th Grade Boys

• 8th Grade Girls

Tryouts for the 2025-2026 season are

• Girls Tryouts October 20-21, Sign up deadline is October 17 at 2:30 pm

• Boys Tryouts October 22-23, Sign Up deadline is October 21 at 2:30 pm

Sign-up is required to try out.
There will be two sign-up forms, one for Girls Basketball/Cheer and one for Boys Basketball/Poms.Sign-up will be available at the beginning of September.
A current physical must be on file in the health office by that deadline as well
No late submissions will be accepted.
The season runs from mid-October to mid-December. Each basketball team practices every day there is no game, Monday-Thursday. There is no practice on Fridays.

Practices run until 4:30 pm. The late bus will NOT be available at this time and students will have to be picked up by a parent or arrange for rides home. If your student needs to take the late bus they will need to communicate this with the coach.

Coaches may occasionally have practices before school.
Games are generally played Mondays-Thursdays. Most games are scheduled at 3:45 pm whether they are home or away.
