Today was an incredible day at Hooper. We had the honor of celebrating all of our Assistants on staff. They work so hard with all of our students so we surprised them with an all school assembly. Hooper Jaguar students got in front of the school and read cards to each of them. A great day at Hooper!!!

Palombi LEARN: Mrs. Allen sixth grade ELA classes are currently learning about Titanic. We worked on a project today where we researched different passengers.

Hoopers talent show was amazing tonight. These Hooper Jaguars got on stage and performed some wonderful routines. From dancing to singing to making the audience laugh and smile. Super proud of these Jaguars!!

Happy Administrative Professionals day to these amazing ladies. Thank you for always being so positive and friendly to our staff, students and parents. Hooper would be lost without you!!! #AdministrativeProfessionalsDay

We were honored to be able to receive an outdoor classroom complete with benches, tables, and a whiteboard from a former student, Fitzroy Walsh, who is obtaining her Eagle Scout badge!! A huge thank you to Mrs. Laughlin for assisting in planning the location for this project The classroom is located near the Northwest corner of the building. #leadership #ranchalum

Last Thursday, the 3rd graders worked so hard at Feed My Starving Children last! All of the hard work put into packing food enabled us to pack 77 boxes which amounts to 38,808 meals which will feed 106 kids a daily meal for an entire year. Additionally, the generous cash donation from Hooper families amounted to $175 which will result in 603 meals and will feed an additional child for 18 months! Thank you to all the parent volunteers who joined us! We couldn’t have made the trip without you! It was a FUN day of helping others!

Reading Resource and RtI reading students took a field trip earlier in the week to the Lake Villa Library. Students took a behind the scenes tour of the library and listened to a presentation given by one of the librarians.

The rain didn't stop these first graders for coming out for the music show tonight. 🎶🎤🥁🎻. We even got to see a rainbow!!
