📚✨ Martin School’s Title I Family Night was a wonderful success with a great turnout of families, thanks to the incredible planning and dedication of our amazing staff!
We were also especially proud to have Martin alumni return to volunteer and give back to the school community that helped shape them. Seeing former students supporting the next generation of learners is a powerful reminder that once you are part of the Martin family, you are always part of it. 💙
Thank you to everyone who helped make the evening such a meaningful event for our students and families! #MartinSchoolPride #FamilyEngagement #OnceAMartinLeaderAlwaysAMartinLeader #Mustangsmakeithappen

🍽️Big day in the cafeteria! Today we had a special guest chef whipping up two-of-a-kind tater-tot entrées — and it did NOT disappoint! Chef Cam, 2-time Chopped winner on The Food Network, worked kitchen magic at Martin creating toppings of BBQ chicken and BBQ pork!!

🍀🔬 Kindergarten Scientists in the Making! 🌱✨
Our kindergarten scientists have been hard at work exploring the wonders of plants! Students learned how plants grow, what they need to survive, and even observed how flowers "drink" water. To make the learning even more exciting, a little leprechaun magic seemed to appear just in time for St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀#Mustangsmakeithappen

🌸🌼 Little scientists at work! Our kindergarten students explored how flowers “drink” water through their stems during a hands-on science activity. By placing flowers in colored water, they watched as the petals slowly changed color, showing how water travels through the plant. 🌈🔬
Learning is in full bloom as our young learners ask questions, make predictions, and discover the wonders of science right before their eyes! 🌷✨ #FutureScientists #KindergartenDiscovery #LearningInBloom #Mustangsmakeithappen

We are proud of the way they continue to represent Thompson Elementary in our community. 🍀🐯

The students in Mrs. Sylvester's class had a visit from the Astronomical Society! They were very inquisitive and showed this by asking exceptional questions. They learned so much, such as the different colors of the stars, how stars are formed, and the different phases of the moon. The students were also exposed to great vocabulary words: totality, lunar, big bang theory, etc. Thank you so much for coming, Mr. Layne and Ms. Kim. I think you inspired some students to work for NASA in the future! #Mustangsmakeithappen
