A 3rd grader enjoyed visiting a kindergarten classroom to read aloud to our youngest learners. This special opportunity allowed the student to practice fluency and expression while serving as a positive role model. Our kindergarten students loved the story! We are proud of the way our students support and learn from one another!
Fourth-grade students and Mrs. Sylvester’s class recently had the exciting opportunity to meet an award-winning author! During her visit, she shared her personal journey, what inspired her to write her first book, and how everyday experiences can become powerful stories!!

They also put their creativity to work by collaborating to develop the beginning and ending of their own stories. It was an inspiring experience that encouraged our young writers to find their voices and see themselves as authors in the making!
