Our Hooper Heroes took on The Hovercraft Project, spending an incredible day building, testing, and actually riding full-sized hovercrafts!
This immersive STEM adventure was all about discovery—learning how individual strengths make a team stronger and proving that with collaboration, they can accomplish hard things. This experience showed our Hooper Heroes the power of teamwork, perseverance, and recognizing their own value. When students know their unique strengths and work together, there’s no limit to what they can build!
We are so proud of our young innovators and can’t wait to see how high they soar!
Our Hooper Hero Kindergartners are busy working through hands-on centers to reinforce their learning in Unit 1. Students are partnering up to practice foundational skills like counting groups up to 10, recognizing small sets up to 4 without counting, and asking "are there enough?" questions.

Big dreams start with clear steps! 3rd graders have been hard at work taking ownership of their learning by creating their WIGs (Wildly Important Goals)! From mastering multiplication facts to crushing reading stamina targets, these young leaders defined where they are, where they want to be, and the action steps to get there. We can't wait to watch them track their progress on their classroom scoreboards and celebrate every milestone along the way! 📊✨

Our Hooper staff joined forces with fellow District 41 team members to serve up smiles (and fries!) at McDonald's to raise funds for our amazing PTO and students!
From taking orders to working the drive-thru, our staff demonstrated what it truly means to Lead, Learn, and Serve in our community. A huge thank you to all the families and community members who came out to support our school and enjoy a meal together!

Our first Deal Day was a huge success! Students across grade levels partnered up for a powerful lesson on Perseverance—a core foundation of building a growth mindset both at school and at home.
Through collaborative activities, our Heroes explored what it truly means to:
