Lucky to Lead Together! 🍀
Our Hooper Heroes are proving that you don’t need a pot of gold when you have a great team! Our Hooper Hero's celebrated St. Patrick’s Day by practicing Habit 6: Synergize.
Whether we’re working on a classroom project or walking together to support District 41 in the parade, our students know that "Together is Better." Our students are showing the true spirit of a Hooper Hero by leading with kindness and cooperation.
Happy St. Paddy’s Day from our lucky school family!

Palombi 7th Grade ATD students had an incredible day visiting Hooper School to share their original stories with some of our very enthusiastic first graders. The energy didn't stop at Hooper—the students talked the entire drive back about how special the experience was and how much they loved connecting with the younger kids.
We are so grateful for this opportunity to bring our students together in such a meaningful way. Way to lead by example, Palombi!

Our 3rd graders are proving that you’re never too young to make an impact! As part of our Leader in Me journey, these students practiced empathy and service by writing letters of encouragement to walkers in this past November’s Susan G. Komen Day walk.
The responses are coming in, and our Hooper Heroes are feeling the love! Check out these heartwarming messages from the participants who were touched by our students' words.

This month's DEAL Day, Hooper students practiced Habit 2: Begin with the End in Mind by setting fresh New Year’s Resolutions. But we don't go it alone—students then connected with their Synergize Partners to identify their support systems. We love seeing our students take charge of their future and work together to succeed!

Our 1st grader Hooper Heros are taking charge of their learning through partner reading. By practicing Habit 5 (Seek First to Understand, Then to be Understood), they listen closely to their peers and grow their reading confidence one page at a time.

We are bursting with pride after our recent Spelling Bee! Our students stepped up to the mic with incredible confidence and poise. It’s not easy to stand up there, but every participant did a phenomenal job representing their classrooms.
Congratulations to all our brave spellers for their hard work and dedication! You truly showed us what being a Hooper Hero is all about.

Today, one of our former Hooper students, Gabriel, who now attends Lakes High School, came back to visit Mrs. Greig's, Ms. Staver's and Ms. Bertram's class to give a presentation about saving the environment. He did an amazing job, and we were SO proud to see how much he has accomplished and what a successful and driven young man he has become, demonstrating true Leader in Me potential!
