How fun is it to learn your numbers with shaving cream at Hooper?? Mrs. Gutsmiedl's kindergarteners had a blast today!

Mrs. Gutsmiedl's Hooper kindergarten friends are working on writing and recognizing their numbers 10-20. We took advantage of this beautiful day to write numbers in chalk outside! #makingmathfun

Today in the Hooper library Mrs Adkins' 1st grade class had a 5th grader read "Grumpy Monkey" to them!



A giant shoutout to Alayna for winning the yearbook cover contest this year. Can't wait to see it on the yearbook!!!


After 33 rounds and getting to the 8th grade words, Hooper finally had a spelling bee champion. Congratulations to all of the contestants and to Jimmy for winning the contest. #spellingbee

Mrs. Gutsmiedl’s Hooper kindergartners are working on counting and recognizing numbers 1-20. Today they used playdough to add “pepperoni” to their pizza after reading the correct number card.


Hooper 5th graders learn about properties of matter in science. They used balances to measure weight, rulers to measure length, and their 5 senses to describe properties. #makeschoolfun #science
